Good Hearted People in Small Places&Bad Hearted People in Big Places

~Upon request I am going to dedicate this blog to a true good hearted person Ja'Nay. I know I am a difficult person and you have to know me to love me, but this lady has had my back through the good and bad times. Even though she moved, she didn't say forget Danielle, she still talks to me! I can truly call her a friend, and even more a sister. We need more good hearted people in the world like Ja'Nay or different in modern day society.~

There is no such thing as a bad person or a good person, but our hearts can be defined by the choices we make and how we treat others.

Why do people do the things they do? One of my friends fail victim to a heinous crime. While walking home from school in this small suburban area, some juniors ganged up on him and beat him up really bad. He had to have surgery, that’s the severity of it. He never did anything to anybody and never had an altercation with no one. Why he? Why do people always try to stop someone’s dreams and go out their way to sabotage someone’s goals in life because they can't step up to the plate or they can't handle the competition? Why me? Why is it so hard for people to be able to be themselves now days? Why you? Why do people take advantage of old people, why do teens bully and don't care when someone is hurt, why are their untold stories of the babies killed by their mothers, why is it possible for one to get discriminated by their own race, why is it that hard to get a job, why can't hard working Americans get the amount they need to provide for their families, is human life not valuable today? Why us?

We have so much potential as a nation to succeed but when will we wake up; it can't be before it's too late. If every individual changes at least just one thing that hinders others and or themselves in a bad way, I know everyone can't be perfect, there is no such thing, I guarantee you this world would be a better place.

Here are some things you can do to make a positive change in the world:

~Kill people with kindness.
~Be considerate of others feelings.
~Give someone a smile! Pass it on!
~Don't bully on someone that can't defend themselves. Matter of fact don't bully at all.
~Do something selfless.
~Don't just hear someone, listen.
~Don't always be down on your self.
~If you make a mistake, own up to it and or apologize.
~Volunteer a soup kitchen or any other place.
~Give aways something to someone who needs it most.
~Tell your loved ones you love them,
~Donate.
~Reach out to someone in need.
~Help a stranger out.
~Open the door for any girl.
~Say please and thank you.
~Say hello to someone.
~Many much more!

Love In All The Wrong Places

Most people I know are looking for love take in consideration the fact that I'm just a teenager, which is kind of scary because most of my associates are teens! That my reader is looking for love in all the wrong places. Most likely the person you are saying you're in love with now 9 times out of 10 won't be there later in life. It's all false love and affection, you just like the attention. You might not really know what the meaning of love is, that's why so many of the kids these days keep using it in vain. Unless you are willing to give that person your ALL, stay faithful, and live with that person for the rest of your life you are not in love. Another explanation is: You might just be lusting after the person you "love", in other words puppy love. That's why when guys tell me they love me, it goes in one ear and right out the other, I have never in my life said it back. It is possible to love your friends and family, but being a teenager, it's impossible to be "in love".

Let me know what you think! Comment.

Emphasis On Race?

I do get offended when some one calls me black, I am brown, African American would be a much more appropriate term. Why do people these days put so much emphasis on color, race and or ethnicity? Why do I have to be a certain way just because of my skin tone? When will people judge each other by their character and not looks!? This is a serious issue, just because we have a African American president doesn't mean everyone will fall hand in hand. I constantly hear and see news channels and other sites always state the color of ones skin. I understand if they are just giving a description of a person so justice can prevail, but things like "A women was caught outside the white house with a knife......She's a black lady" is a little derogatory. Also why does talking proper, being smart, and or being different have to be a so-called "white thing". That is the type of thinking that can hold a whole race back, and until that type of thinking from generations of ignorance passed down to the next is gone, that race will not strive. Comment and let me know what you think!

True Point Gaurds

To be a true pure point guard you have to have these following skills.
  • The ability to score when your team needs it.
  • A great passer.
  • Know every positions spot and where they are supposed to be.
  • You have to be able to dribble to anywhere on the court and out of traps.
  • See the open man.
  • Make the people around you better.
  • Be a leader.
  • Great listening skills.
  • Be in the game at all time both mentally and physically.
  • Be able to run plays.
  • Create plays on and off the dribble.
  • Etc.
Many will always remember such players like Isiah Thomas, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and etc. They are the greatest point guards in history and are known for the will to win, great handles, killer plays, and the ability to get their team mates in the game. In order to win , you need all five players not just one. There are many talented players today, but most lack the skill to get their team mates in the game. Let's face it the generations upon generations of point guards are getting stingier by the bunch. Why is this? Most point guards girls and or boys go into straight "zombie mode", when all they want to do is shoot. Take Russel Westbrook for example, he is a true ball hog and he has an attitude problem,he could be so great, but just those little flaws are stopping him from reaching his true potential . Everyone can't be a superstar. Why do players do this? Feel free to comment.

NBA Championship

Who will get the ring?

This particular 2010-2011 season the Mavs have startled alot of it's fans, with a new coach, Rick Carlisl, comes changes. This past summer they received centers Alexis Ajinca and Tyson Chandler in a deal with the Charlotte Bobcats. Together, these moves provide them with additional versatility, depth, and athleticism—particularly along their front line. Those changes have helped the Mavs along with hard work and dedication, make it to the Finals where they will meet once again with the talented Miami Heat. The question is do they have what it takes to beat the Heat?

No one can match the Mavs skills of making that extra pass to the open player and if Dallas continues their solid pick-and-roll play they might be alright, but the thing is can they shut down big time players such as D.Wade, Le'Bron and Chris Bosh. Not to mention consistency, which is something some Mav players lack when stepping on the court, it is very important that they maintain this and keep a hot hand to stay in the running.

After the Heats 12 point deficit comeback in Game 5 we all know nothing is impossible for this determined team. D.Wade, Chris Bosh and Le'Bron are a powerful force together, but one factor still remains: Does the Heat have what it takes to work together as a team or does everyone just want to be an MVP?

What are your thoughts?

Obama

It has been brought to my attention that lately Obama has been being bashed even more so now than ever. There are two sides to every story but I sedomly see the views of Obama supporters. We the people should not be given one view of things by the media, but the whole truth. The same republicans that work so hard to put the c in capitalism are the main people complaining that Obama is not doing his job. Obama is still fixing Bush's mistakes! Clinton left Office with a 3.5 trillion surplus. Bush lowered taxes, started two wars, engineered the Bank Bailouts and sunk US into a downhill slope of debt. Not to mention leaving us in a deficit and almost another depression. Obama even found and killed the world's number one terrorist. Obama may have yet shown the characteristics of being an all time great president, but he sure is pulling this nation out of ruins, and that takes time.

"Our country is not the only thing to which we owe our allegiance.  It is also owed to justice and to humanity.  Patriotism consists not in waving the flag, but in striving that our country shall be righteous as well as strong."  ~James Bryce
